IVAN GARCIA

Finance Manager

Ivan Garcia is our Director of Finance and our Primary Office Director.  Ivanis a native El Pasoan who is working on a degree in Economics and Management from the University of Texas at El Paso. This educational goal fits in well with his current position with the Caldwell & Dimmitt practice.

Ivan enjoys learning, meeting new people, and the daily challenges of his job with our office. He has a great sense of humor, and is a pleasure to talk with. He also enjoys reading, off-roading, working out at the gym as time permits, and watching movies—especially foreign films.

Ivan has long-term aspirations of one day being a professional pianist or teacher—or maybe combining the two interests with his other one—that of full-time travel.

REBECCA RODRIGUEZ

Patient Coordinator
Rebecca Rodriguez is a key leader in our Front Desk staff as she greets and assists patients with all aspects of patient care. She is the "voice" that greets all patient calls over the phone and she is always available to help with any patient with concerns that arise during care in our office.  She is a native El Pasoan and graduated in 2009 from the University of Texas-El Paso.

She joined the Caldwell & Dimmitt practice in January, 2010 and has been most recently requested to train in Schedule Engineering (appropriate ways to arrange the Doctors' daily agenda of patients—it's much more complicated than you might think)! Even though she has been with us a short time, we are already benefitting from her presence and input. She learns quickly! Hers will be the first smiling face you see when entering our office.

Rebecca loves meeting new people, and would like to one day be a Social Worker. She also enjoys photography, scrapbooking, travel, singing, and socializing with friends over a good cup of coffee!

GLORIA SAENZ

Hygiene Coordinator
Gloria celebrated her 21st year with the Caldwell & Dimmitt practice in March, 2014. She started her career years ago handling Dr. Caldwell's medical dictation. When a fellow co-worker fell ill in 1995, Gloria was asked to work on the front desk, and has been the Hygiene Coordinator ever since. What's kept her with us so long? Ask her—and she would say, “We have the nicest patients!” She knows many of them personally, and thoroughly enjoys their routine visits to the office.

Gloria is a native El Pasoan, studied at the University of El Paso before launching a “Domestic Engineering” career with her husband and two daughters. She views this particular career path as one of the best investments of her life, and loves spending time with the “fruit” of that decision: her three grandchildren. She also loves cooking, or sitting down for a quiet afternoon with a good book.

ELISA VELOZ

Accounting Supervisor
Elisa's a native El Pasoan, but was educated in Ciudad Juarez, where she earned a Bachiller Fisico Matematico (Diploma degree) in 1981. She went on to become certified in Computer Accounting through International Business College in 1993, She has five years' of previous work experience with Kaufman, Ward, and Company; a local CPA firm.

Elisa handles all of the corporation's Accounts Payable, Receivables, and Payroll. She is a member of the National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers, and was recently given a certificate of appreciation by the AARP Foundation for her volunteer work as an AARP Tax-Aide.

Elisa has four wonderful children who keep her "after work" life exciting. Many of Elisa's interests emanate from her involvement at St. Pius Church, such as Bible Study, ACTS Retreats, and evangelism. She also volunteers as a Tax Aid at AARP.

Elisa started working for Dr. Caldwell in September of 2004. Now, these many years later, we don't know how we functioned without her!

GYPSY DIAZ

Business/Surgical Assistant
Gypsy began work at Dr. Caldwell's office in August of 2008. Just a few years later, she now wears many hats at the Caldwell & Dimmitt practice, ranging from Surgical Assistant to Accounting Assistant. As you may have already guessed, Gypsy is always willing to lend a helping hand wherever she is needed, and with a real team “spirit”, as well.

Gypsy concurrently attends the University of Texas at El Paso where she is preparing for a degree in Physical Therapy. She feels her work at our office will give her a tremendous advantage toward one day making her dream a reality.

Some of Gypsy's hobbies include attendance at St. Pius' ACTS Retreats, college, study club, shopping, and spending time with loved ones. We feel blessed to have her among us.
